Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care is a ministry which revolves around life within the congregation. Because many ministries are provided by other SWEEPS committees, Pastoral Care ("Parish Visitors") now provides Holy Communion and regular visits to hospitals, nursing homes, and the home bound. Extended Christian caregiving for those with concerns or fears, as well as ongoing prayer, are provided by trained Stephen Ministers.
An active life of prayer is provided through the use of our parish prayer chain. This prayer ministry has been active for many years but needs new members to pray for those during difficult times in their lives.
A healing service is held each Tuesday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel.
"Parish Visitors" meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month, 7:00 p.m., in the Stilwell Library.
