Vision fund
The Vision Fund of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church"All that we have, has been given to us by God. As faithful followers of Christ we must be good stewards of our time, our talents, and our treasure. If we have such gifts, we offer them to God for use in our Church, our community, and our world. Jesus, the author of our salvation, teaches us that good stewardship is a lifelong endeavor of living out our commitment to God."
In 1947, The "Vestrymen" of St. Matthew's established an Endowment Fund or Permanent Trust. The Vision Fund was created as a comprehensive program to manage all aspects of Planned Giving at St. Matthew's, including the Endowment Fund.
This approach has allowed St. Matthew's to respect our existing Endowment and better encourage, receive, and administer gifts in a manner faithful to the loyalty and devotion to God expressed by donors, both past and present.
Assets of the Vision Fund are administered through the Episcopal Church Foundation through the professional management of State Street Corporation.
